This movie is about 80 MB in size so it could take quite some time to download. That’s why I decided to post it on a different page. The camera is facing close to due South out of the front of my house. When the movie starts you’ll see the clouds coming in from a NW direction (from the right) and then when the snow starts you’ll see the clouds coming more from the North which brings in the moisture from Lake Michigan.
This sort of thing happens every year and it all depends on where you live as to how much you will get. Five miles in either direction got maybe an inch or two and we got about 6 or more.
I decided yesterday at about 2pm to start the camera (Nikon Coolpix P6000) and I stopped it around 10am the next morning. It shot an image every minute and I didn’t pay that close attention to it so I didn’t know that I was getting so many reflections off of the window. Just something to remember for next time... It was fun anyway!
Welcome to what I like to call... “The buckle of the snow belt!”
